Features

Featuring Alma’s proprietary high frequency, unipolar technology, the Alma Opus system’s Opus Plasma® handpiece is the first-of-its-kind Fractional Plasma® technology to enter the skin resurfacing market. This novel solution addresses superficial to complex textural and skin-quality concerns that are traditionally corrected with conventional fractional resurfacing lasers or full-field ablative resurfacing lasers, but with less downtime and a higher safety profile.

Technology

The Alma Opus operates at a high frequency (over 40 MHz), which charges the metal pins on its tips to a high RF voltage. When close to the skin, it reacts with atmospheric pressure in the air thereby creating plasma-like energy. The intensity of the Alma Opus Plasma can be adjusted to a light, moderate or aggressive setting, making it a versatile resurfacing option.
