Accent Prime is Alma’s established body and face workstation. It combines ultrasound for fat reduction with unipolar radiofrequency for deep dermal heating and collagen, so one platform handles circumference reduction, skin tightening, cellulite and facial contouring. It has been in Australian clinics for years, the protocols are mature, and the applicator range is broad. That track record is the reason many clinics still specify it.
Accent Prime or Alma PrimeX?
This is the question, and it is worth answering plainly because both are current Alma platforms. Alma PrimeX is the newer generation. It carries applicators that Accent Prime does not, most notably UltraWave, its applicator ergonomics have been refined, the platform specification has moved on, and the user interface and clinical workflow are the newer design. Accent Prime is the proven workstation with the longest protocol history and the widest installed base. A clinic that wants the latest applicator set and workflow chooses PrimeX. A clinic that values a platform its staff already know, or that is adding a second body system alongside an existing Accent Prime, often chooses Accent Prime. Both are supported, trained and serviced by Alma Lasers Australia, and an Alma representative will walk through the applicator list against your treatment menu before you decide.
What it treats
Body contouring and circumference reduction on abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms and buttocks; skin tightening on body and face; cellulite; and facial contouring including jawline and submental area. Skin types I to VI. There are no consumables, so once the platform is paid for the cost per treatment is practitioner time.
Who operates it
Ultrasound and RF body devices are not Class 4 lasers, so the rules are lighter than for laser platforms and a trained therapist can deliver treatments, but requirements still vary by state and by insurer. Every installation includes on-site clinical training by an Alma clinical specialist, and Alma Lasers Australia takes each clinic through what applies in its state before delivery.
Buying from the manufacturer
Alma Lasers Australia is Alma’s own Australian subsidiary, covering New Zealand from Sydney, so service, parts, training and protocol support come from the same team that sold the system. We do not publish list prices, because the configuration depends on which applicators your clinic will use. Bring your treatment prices and weekly bookings to a demo and we will build the numbers with you. Equipment finance is available through Medfin.
