Yes. Fractional ablative and non-ablative lasers and fractional radiofrequency all have published evidence for striae, with improvements in texture, width and colour reported over a course of sessions. Alma Hybrid, Pixel CO2, PrimeX and Accent Prime are included in the ARTG. The honest framing the evidence supports, and that Alma’s training teaches, is improvement rather than removal: stretch marks become less visible and the skin surface smoother, and results are best on newer marks.
Available on the Hybrid and Alma PrimeX, the patented IMPACT trans epidermal delivery applicator increases penetration of scar-remodeling cosmeceuticals into the skin after a fractional resurfacing treatment, to enhance treatment results.
Fractional lasers and microplasma. Alma Hybrid combines fractional CO2 with a 1570 nm non-ablative laser, so striae can be treated with the ablative component set to the depth the practitioner chooses; Pixel CO2 offers CO2 alone. Microplasma, the fractional radiofrequency applicator on PrimeX and Accent Prime, resurfaces and stimulates collagen with less downtime and can be used on darker skin types with care. Alma Opus is the non-laser option. Older, white stretch marks respond more slowly than red ones, so assessment at consultation sets the plan.
