Alma PrimeX is a configurable face-and-body platform for clinics that combines guided non-focused ultrasound for selected localised contouring with 40.68 MHz unipolar RF for controlled tissue heating. Applicators cover face and body, and each system is configured around the clinic’s treatment menu.
Body contouring machine or skin tightening machine?
Contour and laxity can coexist, but they are not the same tissue target, and many body sculpting machines address only one of them. As a body contouring machine, PrimeX uses non-focused ultrasound aimed at the subcutaneous layer; as a skin tightening machine, it uses unipolar RF to heat the dermis. The practitioner can plan the two as separate steps in one treatment pathway.
RF skin tightening machine: 40.68 MHz unipolar RF
As an RF skin tightening machine, PrimeX uses 40.68 MHz unipolar RF (AlmaWave) to heat water-rich tissue. UniFace and UniBody combine unipolar RF with a rotating massage interface for face and body, and TuneFace adds assisted vacuum for small facial areas. Selected configurations add Microplasma, a fractional RF plasma applicator for resurfacing.
What can it treat, and where on the body?
Depending on the configuration, applicators are designed for body and face contouring and tightening, skin laxity, wrinkles, cellulite, stretch marks, scars and resurfacing. On the body, typical areas are the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms and buttocks. On the face, SpeedSculpt and TuneFace treat the jawline, cheeks, lower face and submental area, and the Alma X-Lift protocol combines the two for the lower face, including post-weight-loss volume change.
Who is a good candidate for Alma PrimeX treatments?
Patients close to their target weight who want shape and firmness rather than weight loss, and patients with mild to moderate skin laxity. PrimeX is not a weight-loss treatment, and suitability is assessed by the treating practitioner. It suits clinics building a repeat-treatment programme rather than one-off procedures.
How long does it take to see results?
Results develop over a course of treatments and vary between patients. Your Alma clinical specialist sets the protocol and the number of sessions per area during training.
Who can operate Alma PrimeX?
PrimeX is designed to be delivered by trained therapists as well as doctors, with treatment presets by indication and area. Every installation includes on-site clinical training for your team by an Alma clinical specialist, followed by protocol support and Alma Academy sessions. Operator requirements differ by state, and we walk each clinic through what applies before installation.
Is a body contouring machine worth the investment?
PrimeX has no per-treatment consumables, so ongoing costs are applicator life, servicing and practitioner time. We do not publish list prices, because the configuration depends on which applicators your clinic will use.
