Non-Surgical, Targeted Skin Tightening
Alma offers a non-surgical treatment option for safe and fast tightening of loose skin and smoothing of wrinkles – such as crow’s feet – that appear around the eyes as skin ages.
Yes. Intense pulsed light and long-pulsed 1064 nm Nd:YAG are the standard, extensively published technologies for vascular lesions, and Alma’s Dye-VL and Nd:YAG applicators on Harmony carry their own clinical studies. For the eye area, radiofrequency tightening and plasma resurfacing are both documented in peer-reviewed work, and Opus has published comparisons showing results equivalent to fractional ablative laser with shorter downtime. Harmony, Accent Prime and Opus are included in the ARTG, and Alma Lasers Australia supplies the references with training.
Yes. Accent Prime carries a small UniPolar radiofrequency applicator for periorbital tightening and a Microplasma (Pixel RF) applicator for texture and fine lines around the eyes. Because both are radiofrequency rather than laser, the area can be treated up to the orbital rim with appropriate eye protection and without the laser-specific restrictions. For clinics whose eye-area demand is mainly crepey skin and fine lines, Alma Opus, the plasma and radiofrequency platform, is the other Alma option and is used on the eyelids themselves.
